Department of Public Safety

Welcome to the New England Institute of Technology Department of Public Safety (DPS). Our department provides professional public safety services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. DPS actively patrols campus grounds, responds promptly to emergencies and safety concerns, investigate reports and traffic-related incidents, and work closely with students, faculty, and staff to help prevent crime and maintain a safe campus environment.

Director of Public Safety

Pamela Moffatt-Limoges has served as Director of Public Safety at the New England Institute of Technology since 2017, bringing more than 40 years of law enforcement and campus safety experience. She previously spent her career with the Rhode Island State Police, retiring as a Lieutenant in 2008, and later held the role of Associate Director of Public Safety at Roger Williams University. Under her leadership, the department delivers comprehensive safety services that support a secure and supportive campus environment.
